The best time to photograph a newborn is within the first two weeks after birth. During this period, babies spend most of their time sleeping, making it easier to position them in swaddling poses, headbands, caps, and other adorable setups. However, photographers need to put in considerable effort to achieve these poses. Since the baby needs to be fed every half hour, photographers must also allocate time for this, typically taking about 3 to 4 hours for a newborn photo session. The cost of newborn baby photography ranges from NPR 18,000 to 25,000.
Before the session, parents should come in a joyful and relaxed state. They should pack everything needed for the baby, including milk, warm water, soft clothing, and diapers. The baby should be bathed in the morning, but no oils, kohl, or powders should be applied. As the session may take 3 to 4 hours, parents should also bring any necessary snacks for themselves.
Safety: Our newborn photographers prioritize the baby's health and ensure that they themselves are healthy before scheduling the shoot. On the day of the shoot, the photographer will have bathed and be wearing clean clothes. They also sanitize the studio beforehand to make it germ-free. Only experienced and trained newborn photographers and their assistants are allowed in the studio; no one else is permitted entry under the guise of learning.
